Handpainted Silk Scarves - Ombre
This is a special order design which I create just for you! Every silk scarf is a beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece of art. The uniqueness is created by the natural flow of the special dyes I use which, when finished, retain the soft luxurious lustre of the silk.
You can choose from three sizes:
Small - 110×17cm / 43×6.5 inches
Medium - 135x20cm / 53×8 inches
Large - 160x28cm / 63×11 inches
My work is inspired by my love of the ocean, which is reflected in the many shades and layers of blue and turquoise I use. Every scarf, I create, is different and although you can choose the colour and the general design, your scarf will not look exactly the same as any of the images. This is a good thing because every scarf is one-of-a-kind just like you!
Your order is made just for you! Please be patient and allow two to three weeks for delivery. First I stretch the silk scarf on a frame and carefully hand-paint it to the style of your choosing. I then steam the scarf to fix the dyes before hand-washing to remove the excess dye.
Once dried, it is ironed and packed ready to ship to you and remember every scarf is shipped free within Australia.
