Handpainted Silk Scarves - Winter Rose

Each scarf is beautiful and unique because of the natural flow of the dyes. I use special dyes to ensure the lustre and the softness of the silk is kept. You can choose from three sizes:
Small (110x16cm)
Medium (135x20cm)
Large (160x28cm)
Silk scarves compliment any outfit worn around your neck, in your hair, on your hat or just as a flash of colour. Just choose your size and style..
Although my passion is to paint in blues and greens, occasionally I have a need to create something warm and vibrant. I created this scarf using beautiful shades of red, pink and warm orange in big swirls blending the colours in layers.
Every scarf is different and although you can choose the colour and the general design, it will not look exactly the same as any of the images. This is a good thing because every scarf is one of a kind just like you!
Each scarf is made to order, just for you. First I stretched the silk scarf on a frame and carefully hand-paint it to the style of your choosing. I then steam the scarf to fix the dyes before hand-washing to remove any excess dye. Once dried, it is ironed and packed ready to ship to you and remember every scarf is shipped free within Australia.
