Part of the “Aerial” series, Land and Ocean, is an observation of where the land of north western Australia meets the turquoise Indian Ocean from above.

Drone photography has changed our perspective of the world around us and I enjoyed experimenting with the flow of the silk dyes to represent how the earth could look from a birds eye view.

The layers of turquoise, aqua and blues captures the depth and shallows of the ocean while the blending of terracotta, brown and copper highlights the vivid colours of the land.

This is a panoramic image which is printed at 1:2 proportions which is a great shape for many spaces. Please check your local framing options before ordering.

30x60cm is printed on 200gsm, fine smooth, acid free paper.

All other sizes are printed on a beautiful 320gsm 100% cotton rag.
